Johnny Smalls, Las Vegas

December 23, 2012 § Leave a comment

While re-watching one of my favorite shows of all time, I found out about Johnny Smalls, a now closed restaurant that was in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Described as a “Tapas Restaurant” on UrbanSpoon, I wish it was still open (and not 600 miles away in Sin City) so I could try some of the offerings that have been described as “well prepared, expertly seasoned and nicely presented.”

I know it seems completely pointless to show so much enthusiasm or even make a post dedicated to a restaurant that’s closed down, but a simple look at the menu will hopefully explain my infatuation.

Wagyu beef Lettuce Cups? Small Balls? Yah for Satay flatbread? All of these sound beyond incredible. R.I.P. Johnny Smalls

Happy (Mournful?) eating,

AW
